President-Elect: Alex Hampton
If you have any questions about joining our chapter, membership benefits, etc… Alex Hampton is your go-to person! Alex is our Chapter’s President-Elect and current Membership Chair. A Florida State graduate and loyal consumer of Chick-fil-A, Alex enjoys surfing, long romantic walks to the refrigerator and Netflix binging. On the weekends, you’ll catch her rooting on her favorite sports teams or training for the next Savage Race. Her favorite thing about FPRA is the opportunity to meet, network and grow alongside other public relations professionals.
She is also currently attending Leadership Citrus, the “Most Iconic Class Ever!”… Class of 2017!
Treasurer & Director of Programs: Kristy Eichhorn
Kristy is the Treasurer and Director Programming for FPRA, working diligently to invite profound speakers presenting and mentoring on their public relations specialties at our monthly networking luncheons. Kristy is the Clinic Coordinator for Rehab Partners Therapy at the new Inverness location. She has worked in several fun and rewarding capacities through the years from philanthropy, planning large events and raising funds for a non profit organization, to marketing and public relations at Citrus Memorial Hospital for over 18 years. In Kristy’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fishing, boating, soaking up some sunshine at the beach, supporting the Bucs and Packers, as she is originally from Wisconsin, cheering on NASCAR and learning the game of golf (wish her luck).
Kristy is a graduate of Leadership Citrus, Class of 2016.
Director of Accreditation & Certification: Katie Myers, APR
Katie Myers, APR, is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Citrus Memorial Hospital. She has been rumored to survive on caffeine, carbs and dog snuggles, but we can neither confirm or deny these allegations.
A central Florida native, she is a UCF Knight twice over graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the UCF Nicholson School of Communication. More importantly, she holds the title of 1995 Inverness Middle School 6th Grade Spelling Bee Champion.
Katie is a graduate of Leadership Citrus.
Director of Public Relations: Lindsay Tozer
Lindsay Tozer has been a part of Team Clerk since 2008. As the Information Services Director for the Citrus County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Lindsay has oversight of media and communications, records management & information services, mailroom services, and annual reporting. She also serves as the Clerk’s Public Information Officer, Emergency Management Coordinator, Safety Coordinator, Staff Photographer, and RMLO (records management liaison officer) with the State of Florida.
Educationally, Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Interpersonal Communications with a focus in Human Service, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, she is certified as a FEMA classroom instructor & numerous FEMA trainings, and is AIIM certified as an Enterprise Content Management Specialist and a Business Process Management Practitioner.
Lindsay is actively involved at the local government level with emergency management preparation, response and recovery, serving on the Citrus County Emergency Planning Committee and the #CitrusPIN Committee (Citrus Public Information Network).
Lindsay is currently attending Leadership Citrus, the “Most Iconic Class Ever!”…Class of 2017!
Membership Chair: Carol Raym
Carol Anderson Raym founded Custom Blend Communications, LLC in 2016, drawing upon more than 20 years’ experience in communications and marketing in the high-tech industry. Based on Florida’s Nature Coast, she offers clients across the U.S. the right mix of award-winning communications and content marketing expertise and services for their business, agency or non-profit organization. Previously she worked in communications, PR and marketing for companies including Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks.
Carol holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in English and Communications from Flagler College. She completed an additional two years of post-graduate studies in Journalism and Public Relations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Carol and her husband, Keith, call Crystal River home with their dog, two cats, and nearby manatees, dolphins and otters.
Her specialties include communications consulting, writing, editing, content marketing and social media.
Director At-Large: Gailen Spinka
Gailen Spinka is the Owner/Manager of Comfort Keepers, Serving Citrus, Hernando and portions of Levy and Marion Counties
Gailen is a graduate of Leadership Citrus.
Immediate Past President: Mathew Baillargeon
Mathew is the new owner of Earnest Mail Consulting Corporation. Prior to that, he was the owner of Boomtown Media. Having served 2 terms as the Nature Coast Chapter’s President, Mathew received the award for “Most Improved Chapter” at the FPRA Conference in August 2016.
